July 10, 2007Is one hot date for love!
Yup, that was how it was reported over the papers. It was the wedding date of the year, perhaps of the century too.
Brendan from Australia, and Smita from Singapore, decided to tie their knots on this very special day. They are a very special couple who are now living in Australia. And they chose to fly back to Singapore to go through a very traditional Indian wedding, to share their happiness and joy with the bride’s family, relatives and friends. It was one of the most colourful weddings i ever witnessed. ^^
LighTouch Design Competition
The DesignSingapore Council launched LighTouch to harness the talent of the designers from around the world. It challenged designers to develop designs for a unique non-intrusive, mixed use, modular lighting system that can shape a creative and interactive live-work-play environment. This design competition spanned across all aspects of design: architecture, lighting design, industrial design and interior design. The jury evaluated the entries for their uniqueness and creativity.
These two days i have been shooting the LighTouch workshop, where they gathered the 7 finalists in NUS for the final stage of competition. It’s really an eye opener, to see talented people from all over the world pitting their creativity skills against each other. Their works are, one word; amazing!

July 3, 2007Yaaay! I won the 16th place in the Q1 2007 WPJA Contest under the Action category!!
Being in the Top 20 doesn’t look like a big deal, but in a international contest where they are so many many wedding photographers around the world, winning the 16th is a big deal to me. ^_^
JUDGES COMMENTS:
I like the way the photographer captured the bridal couple running through the reception.
It‘s amusing that the chairs seem to be mimicking the couple’s attire.
