Geraldine

October 22, 2006

Since Darrel has finished processing Geraldine’s photos and posted in his blog, i think it’s time for me to do the same too. Hee…

It wasn’t easy, but i had to sit down and process the photos for two whole hours without me getting distracting to do something else. Well, i managed them anyway! :p If you have noticed, i try a new framing around the photos in this series. Wonder if they look good. Hmmm….

Award

October 19, 2006

Oh, yesterday Kris informed me with a piece of good news! A poster advertisement project that I worked with a art director has won an award in a local advertising competition. At this stage, there is no idea which prize are we winning. Bronze, Silver, or it could be even Gold. So let’s just cross our fingers and wait for more good news to come! :)

This is the poster that i took for him. The photo of the elderly was also taken by me. The idea of tearing up the poster and use as a bandage is thought by the art director. Creative, isn’t it? Actually i’m not sure which photo did the art director submit for competition. Apparently, i took quite a number of photos for him, coming from different perspectives and angles. I’m just showing this one cos it’s more straight on.

Well, this award-winning poster is sure good for my portfolio. ^_^

Wedding Portfolio Photos II

October 15, 2006

More joyous wedding pictures to share. Hope you all like them and if possible, give me your comments. More of my wedding portfolio photos will be put into my website. ^_^

Wedding Portfolio Photos I

Oh yes! Finally, i finished with the selection of wedding photos to put them up as my portfolio. It seems easy enough, but shortlisting of photos has always been the cause of my headache. Just think, you have to select 50 images out of 1000 captures taken from a single wedding. But this time round, it’s even harder. Visualise you have to select 50 images out of ten thousands of photos. Yes, i need to pick out the most outstanding images from all the weddings that i took so far.

Next step, to revamp my De-Memoirs website. :)
