Second Wedding Slideshow

May 22, 2006

It was a wedding shoot done together with Ruey Loon and I have picked up a few things from him. The soleminzation and wedding were held at Shangri-La Hotel and the shoot was stress-free and lovely. Why stress-free? That’s because i’m not the primary photographer. Hee… Anyway, it was fun, entertaining and like i mentioned earlier, the wedding shoot was beneficial. I’m rather pleased with the result and decided to make a wedding slideshow out of the photos.

So here it is, let me present my second wedding slideshow.

Oh yeah, you need to have Windows Media Player 9 in order to view it. ^_^

Pre-Wedding Outdoor Photography

May 16, 2006

I have the intention of setting up this blog to showcase my latest wedding photos, but somehow my other photography pictures keep coming out. Finally, this post is going to present something about wedding picture. Well, it’s not truly a wedding picture, but its from a session that Chris Ling had taught and guided us. It’s my initial step into pre-wedding outdoors moments and it’s no easy task. Nevertheless, here’s the first "wedding" photo of this blog!

I’m still in the midst of post processing the rest of the pictures. Definitely, more photos will come along, but i can’t promise they will be good. Haha… Okay, time for me to take out out Chris Ling Wu Lin Mi Ji and memorise all the secrets within. ^_^

I decided to post processed a few more pictures from the last shoot. Kind of different from the dramatic sky line, these will be playing with low key and high key.

I have received alot of compliments for the previous two photos. I’m on cloud nine. Well, let’s see in future if i can shoot more of such photos.

Thanks guys!

Flashed Portrait

May 7, 2006

It really has been quite a long time since i used flash  on portraits, and i’m not talking about those studio strobes here. Just my SB800 and SB28DX flashes. Well, the results are pretty alright, but i’m not entirely pleased with my photos today. Something is amiss, yet i can’t tell what element is lacking. It could be my persepective and my framing. Hmmm… It ought to be.

After fiddling with the flashes for so long, i still have no idea how to get the correct exposure that i had in mind. And my pics look rather flat. Culprit could be the onshoe external flash. I should have brought my offshoe cord along.

Time for me to shoot more!
